COVID-19 Update

Dear Arrow patients,

The fall flu season is upon us. This is a busy time of year for any family medical practice and we wanted to address concerns you may have. We have had a high volume of calls pertaining to the current Covid 19 pandemic and wanted to address our most frequently asked question:

Should I be tested for COVID-19?

We want you to know that we, at Arrow, are abiding by the CDC and PA department of health guidelines. We have attached the link for both sites here, specifically answering this "should I be tested?" question.

Please refer to CDC and PA DOH sites below. In addition, The PA DOH (Pennsylvania Department of Health) also has a link offering testing sites nearest you.

Overall, you will find that the recommendation by the CDC is that not everyone needs to be tested and, according to the PA DOH, they have a tier system in place to help you understand if you meet criterion for immediate testing. If you feel you meet criteria listed on the PA DOH website, you may need to schedule a telemedicine visit with us prior to being tested OR you can refer to the testing link and find a site that does not require a physician's order for testing.
